Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her support and determination to enhancing South African Social Security Company (SASSA) providers throughout an engagement together with the company's senior supervisors at a strategic arranging session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the numerous social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric exams.
In the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for that National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing 81% of the registered pupils from the schooling sector.
These learners accomplished a commendable pass rate of 86%.
